Short Professional Biography
Ethan Dinan, PT, DPT, OCS, MHA, FACHE serves as Executive Director of the Veterans Health Research Institute of Central New York, Inc. (VHRI).
Ethan holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During his doctoral training, he co-authored original academic research in cervical spine rehabilitation and later became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. In addition to his clinical background, he served in leadership roles within an orthopaedic physician practice, including Director of Rehabilitation and Senior Manager.
To further develop his leadership and administrative expertise, Ethan earned an Executive Master of Health Administration from Cornell University. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a credential recognizing board-certified healthcare leadership and commitment to advancing the profession.
Through his leadership at VHRI, he works to strengthen the infrastructure, partnerships, and resources that enable impactful Veteran-focused research. Serving others is the mission that led Ethan to healthcare, and he recognizes that serving those who have served is an even greater honor.
Clinical Trial Center Team
Our Clinical Trial Center Team serves as the point of contact for all information relating to clinical trials, and as a liaison between Syracuse VA Medical Center Principal Investigator and Study Sponsors. Our coordinators share in the passion of our research and the potential it can yield by improving the lives of our Veterans and Americans. They work to assure compliance of general and study-specific regulatory-related processes with internal Veteran Affairs Medical Center Standard Operating Procedures as well as external regulatory agencies such as the FDA. They coordinate and participate in a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data.
