Short Professional Biography
Ethan holds a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While working on his doctorate, Ethan co-authored original academic research in cervical spine rehabilitation. In the following years, in addition to clinical practice, Ethan became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist.
The preparation to earn a post-professional board certification uses a framework which combines current best evidence with experience to facilitate improved outcomes. In addition to working as the director of rehabilitation and senior manager at an orthopaedic physician practice over the last 6 years, Ethan earned an executive master’s degree in health administration at Cornell University.
Combining his dedication to evidence-based practice, previous leadership roles, and his management degree, he hopes his impact on the healthcare community will be expanded in his current role.
Ethan Dinan has joined Veterans Health Research Institute of Central New York, Inc. as Executive Director as of 2024. Serving others is the mission that led Ethan to healthcare, and he recognizes that serving those who have served is an even greater honor.
Clinical Trial Center Team
Our Clinical Trial Center Team serves as the point of contact for all information relating to clinical trials, and as a liaison between Syracuse VA Medical Center Principal Investigator and Study Sponsors. Our coordinators share in the passion of our research and the potential it can yield by improving the lives of our Veterans and Americans. They work to assure compliance of general and study-specific regulatory-related processes with internal Veteran Affairs Medical Center Standard Operating Procedures as well as external regulatory agencies such as the FDA. They coordinate and participate in a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data.
